Can you believe it’s been almost six years since this wonderful man passed away? He was only 44 when that happened. It’s not very often that a person like him comes along. But, I’m just glad that the world got to see his true compassion and kindness towards animals. He will forever be one of my role models. Rest easy, Steve. 

Steve Irwin was the complete shiz. The way he lit up with sincere enthusiasm for the creatures he loved so much, and wanted to protect, inspires me. 

Never forget his passion and I hope his kids follow suit. 

Unnecessary personal confessions of the day:

I acted out episodes of Crocodile Hunter with my Barbie dolls.

And I wanted Steve Irwin to be my dad.

Steve Irwin, man. This guy!

He was my role model for my young life, I watched all his shows.
Its only now that I realize how massive his arms and legs were, jesus.

I wanted to go to the Australia zoo to meet him before I died.  Who would have thought it could have been the other way around? :(
